Job Description

The Associate Respiratory Territory Manager reports to the Regional Vice President (RVP), and he/she is responsible for providing a high level of clinical and product expertise and customer service to current and potential customers. The role of the Associate Respiratory Territory Manager is to drive relationships and case volume while expanding and protecting Olympus respiratory business with current and potential customers.

Job Duties

Grow the business incrementally in all current and potential Olympus accounts.

Penetrating and converting competitive accounts within key strategic product categories.

Driving designated premium product sales.

Adding new physicians at currently existing accounts, and developing physicians at new customer locations.

Driving instrument volume in all Olympus cases to maximize outcomes for physicians and patients.

Promote awareness of Olympus products, systems and services through physician events, trade shows, in-house department referrals, etc. as needed.

Support the sale and enablement of all products in the Respiratory division. (Navigation, EBUS, SVS, Core, Accessory)

Serve as primary support for all field service requests, including but not limited to procedure support, installation, evaluations, and training.

Maintain, protect, and increase current business through outstanding service to all accounts.

Possess strong clinical knowledge of all product lines within the Respiratory division via completion of the Olympus sales training program.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Good overall business acumen (market understanding, business planning, time and territory management.

Ability to build value based, results focused, customer relationships.

Conduct quarterly business reviews to discuss annual sales strategy and execution plans with RVPs and VP of Sales.

Provide a high level of customer responsiveness by being available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

Minimize returns and reduce the exchange of product through effective inventory management.

Assist Credit and Collections Department to ensure our customers are paying within the customer s contract terms.

Must have the ability to work in a lab, bronchoscopy suite, or operating room setting.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED
Qualifications:

Minimum 1 to 3 years Field Based Sales Experience (preferably in medical sales)

Daily travel to accounts 100% by car or plane.

PREFERRED
Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree (Business Administration, Marketing preferred)

Excellent understanding of the sales process and hospital supply chain management.

Clinical operating room experience and/or medical device sales experience with documented performance is preferred.

Ability to gain support and communicate with all levels of the organization.
