Summary:
We are seeking a Front Office Team Member for our well established, private pediatric dental practice.
You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting.
This is a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and a positive patient/parent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner - Verify insurance information and collect necessary patient data - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records - Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow - Handle billing and payment processing - Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality - Assist with various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role, preferably in a dental office setting -Preferred experience with Dentrix practice management software.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent customer service skills, with a warm, kind personality and the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Job Type:
