Support production by responding to trouble calls when equipment and/or poka yokes are not functioning properly.
Preform Preventative Maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime for production.
Responsibilities:
1.
) Ensure that equipment is available to run according to setup standards.
2.
) Part quality is guaranteed by poka yokes proper maintenance.
3.
) Fitting, alignments, and adjusting of feeding and limit mechanisms on Assembly equipment.
4.
) Assist in training of Supervisors and Group Leaders on all new and updated processes.
5.
) Execute Kaizen activities 6.
) Support QMS activity by validating poka yokes and processes operate as documented.
7.
) Diagnose machine/equipment malfunctions and operating difficulties then execute needed repairs.
8.
) Execute Preventive Maintenance according to planned schedules.
9.
) Make needed adjustments to equipment to ensure quality parts meeting customer requirements.
10.
) Other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
A.
EXPERIENCE 1.
) Basic knowledge of electricial low voltage circuits.
2.
) Basic knowledge of pneumatics and controls.
3.
) Good mechanical ability.
REQUIREMENTS:
A.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS 1.
) Must be able to lift 50lbs on an occasional basis during sorts or inventory.
2.
) Keyboarding, sitting, walking, bending and standing.
No unusual requirements for physical strength other than normal activities.
3.
) Demonstrates the ability to consistently meet the dept.
work schedules and be flexible with hours if required.
B.
EQUIPMENT USAGE 1.
) Able to use basic shop tools including but not limited to the following:
Drills, grinders, saws, soldering irons, and hand tools.
2.
) Ability to use gauges and/or other design equipment effectively.
